- First and foremost - all firms are eagerly recruiting. 2000 through 2003 made every firm realize the importance of brokers with good assets and - above all - great relationships with their clients. If you qualify, the deals are great, in fact, perhaps the best in history!
- Deals vary from 50% to an incredible 175% of trailing twelve months’ production paid over a period of up to three years. The upfront portion is often negotiable so a broker who is growing his business can benefit by deferring a larger portion to the future. Obviously, less taken up front can result in huge numbers over a three to four year period.
- The search isn’t restricted to seasoned brokers. If you have successfully completed your training, you can get a good offer.
- Deal components remain front-end cash, back-end bonuses in cash or deferred. All deals are based on production or revenue or assets, salary, stock and accelerated payouts. Not all components are offered by all firms and not all will be offered to any one advisor.
